Walterdale Theatre is committed to the support and development of talent in the Edmonton theatre community.

Thanks to the generosity of Theatre Alberta’s Workshops by Request Hometown Series program and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts we are pleased to offer another workshop!

Have you ever wondered how to set the mood of a scene through light colour or intensity? Have you wanted to design the lights for a show, but don’t know how to get started or how the designer fits into the production team?

Join us on November 16 from 10:00am – 6:00pm for a Basics of Lighting Design workshop with Heather Cornick. Walterdale’s workshop will provide the basics of a Lighting Designer’s role and contribution to the production of a show. Walterdale will provide a mini workshop on the equipment used at Walterdale Theatre at a later date.

Cost: free for Walterdale Theatre members, or $25 for non-members.
