Onstage: July 12 – 22nd, 2023
This backstage musical follows the birth of the play Austentatious, as rehearsed and performed by the Central Rivercity Amateur Players (C.R.A.P), a colourful community theatre ensemble. Jane Austen goes comically wrong in this adaptation by Emily, a dancer/playwright/power hungry schemer, and Dominic, a pretentious, wannabe director who has little knowledge of the theatre and even less of Pride and Prejudice.
Audience Advisory: Strong language, strobe lights, gunshots, stage violence, and marijuana use.
