Role: Alfie Byrne & Master Builder
What is your background in theatre? I have been involved in Community Theatre since 2009 and was drawn in from the first show! I find it to be a great way to meet wonderful creative people and it gives me an outlet to express creative energy.
What brought you out for this show? I wanted to be involved with this production when I first learned Walerdale was mounting it and I listened to a cast recording and heard some of the most beautiful music written for musical theatre. Ahrens and Flaherty are geniuses!
What has been the best thing about working on this show? It has been a pleasure working with such a talented and creative group of people. We have had a great deal of fun working on this project and I’m so lucky to have been a part of this team.
Why do you think audiences will enjoy A Man of No Importance? Audiences will enjoy the show because it is an incredibly moving story. It’s a story of how people will support one another through all means of adversity, and the music is wonderful!
