What is your role in the play? I play Michael Hutz, a former construction worker, with a lot of knowledge about building and is a bit of a celebrity. He is called upon by the customers of Christ to “make things right” with their shoddy homes. While his heart is in the right place, sometimes he may get caught up in his own celebrity status and forget that there is no camera following him around all day long. Can he resist the temptation of Christ long enough to help, or will he succumb?
What is your background in theatre? As for me, I have gotten back into theatre after a long absence and am glad to be a part of the From Cradle to Stage here at the Walterdale. It’s my first play here but I’m looking forward to many more!
Got any good building stories? Personally, I’m an electrician, so I know a thing or two about building things as well!
What do you think audiences will take away from this show? I think the audience will go on a roller-coaster ride of emotion following the customers, and mostly poor Jebediah, on their search for redemption from the works of Jesus! Enjoy the show!
